How does this system work?

This system works with a LiFePO4 battery and stores the produced energy that is not directly consumed by the household for later use, for example at night during adverse weather or when the distribution network fails. If the electricity produced is greater than the household consumes at a given moment and the battery is charged, the surpluses acquired from the photovoltaic panels will be redirected to water heating in the boiler/storage using the GBO-Aku regulation. Another option for using surpluses is the possibility of directing them to heat water in a storage tank (swimming pool) or to charge an electric car.

What is this system suitable for?

The main task of this system is to reduce the cost of electricity for the operation of appliances in the home and to reduce the cost of energy for heating water with the help of a regulator that is designed to achieve the maximum possible use of self-produced electricity from the photovoltaic power plant. Thanks to the hybrid voltage converter and the LiFePO4 battery, you don't even have to worry about power outages from the distribution network, because in such a case, this system will ensure that your household runs through the energy produced by the PV panels and stored in the battery, even at night or in bad weather - suitable for households with consumption up to 3 MWh per year.

GoodWe Hybrid single-phase inverter LV GW5048-EM

It converts the energy produced from the sun by PV panels into usable energy for our electrical appliances, lighting, equipment, etc. Thanks to the possibility of connecting batteries to this inverter, unused energy is stored in them where it is available when the PV panel does not produce it directly. With back-up mode and batteries, the system will ensure the supply of electricity even in the event of a short-term outage of the distribution network. In this case, the system turns into a backup power source. You will not be left without electricity, appliances connected to the so-called back up line. In combination with the GBO-Aku regulator, you can direct unused energy flows to ohmic appliances (typically boiler, storage tanks, etc.). A free power plant monitoring system using Wi-Fi or the RS485 interface is a matter of course.

Battery - Pylontech US3000C

The fundamental advantage of the Pylontech US3000 LiFePO4 battery compared to lower quality batteries is mainly a high number of charging cycles (more than 6000x!) with a 90% depth of discharge and the associated long service life. Part of the battery storage is an integrated battery management system for the balance of individual BMS cells.
